Greetings from Austin, TX!
We made the big move to Austin, TX over the summer of 2007, and we love it here. While we really enjoyed our years in Washington, D.C., we were eager to find a more affordable and family-friendly environment. Austin was a bit risky (since neither of had spent time here), but we are so happy with our decision. In June, Peyton started job at Convio. In July, we bought a home in a fun neighborhood in north/central Austin. We feel so welcomed here, and we're so thankful for the friends we've already made.
