Heidi and Peyton's Updates on Oliver Brendan Taylor!

Oliver was born February 20, 2006 at 1:28 pm. He was 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20.25 inches.

Oliver Turns Two!

Happy Birthday, Oliver! Wow! We can't believe he's already two years old. This past year has just flown by. And our little baby is now a big boy.

So what's new at 2?
Oliver is a very sweet and good-natured little boy. He's very shy and slow to warm up to new situations. But once he's found his comfort zone, he's energetic, funny, silly, and sometimes wild. He loves his family, and he's protective of his brother and his Hula dog. He loves his friends, and he has created some great relationships with his little buddies. He is very intuitive and emotional and self-aware. He loves books. He loves trucks. He loves food (play food and real food). He loves being outside, whether it's digging in the dirt in our yard, going for bike rides, or playing at the park -- he always wants to be outdoors. Right now he loves Curious George. He knows all colors. He knows the alphabet. He can count to 10. And his vocabulary is growing each day. He has a great laugh, a huge smile, and a big heart. And we are so lucky to have him brighten our days over these past two years.

• Fruit Bowl: Oliver likes labeling things. His speech is really not too clear, but he talks all the time. Here he's looking through the contents of our fruit bowl.
• Apple Pie: This one is really not exciting, but something the grandparents may like. Oliver has gotten Mommy's sweet tooth, and he loves pie.
• What's Your Name?: This is really short of Oliver saying his own name.
