Week 1
Oliver was born February 20, 2006 at 1:28 pm! He is 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 20.25 inches.

He is an adorable boy, but sadly he had a little trouble coming into the world. Heidi's labor was incredibly fast (only 4 hours), and we're thankful for that speed because Oliver had the umbilical cord around his neck at delivery as well as meconium in his lungs. That meant that the doctors had to whisk him away to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) immediately. His white blood cell count also indicated that he had a bit of an infection, and he had to stay in the hospital for 7 days of antibiotics.
